"I have checked in with State Farm for several years to see if I could make some gains in service and/or cost with Auto and Home Insurance. They have always been very upfront and professional. I worked with Alina Ortiz at Dean Berube's office this year. I The experience has always been good even if I couldn't make it work. This time it worked and Alina was fantastic. She was great with explaining the policies and cost and differences in policies. I had a great experience. Didn't see eye to eye on everything but Alina worked it out and I was very impressed with Alina, Dean Berube and State Farm and the process."

"I have used Dean for several years now... their customer service is excellent, when I call in, everyone is very helpful and ready to take care of whatever needs or questions I have. I have had reps with other companies call me randomly to give me auto quotes, I always tell them, you cant beat the company i have....they always try, but it never works... "Dean is great to work with and highly responsive to my inquiries. I've been with SF for 35+ years but recently switched agents, and it was the best decision for me. "WARNING!!!! DO NOT purchase State Farm Insurance through Dean Berube in Arlington, TX. This man has taken advantage of my 87-year-old mother for years. She was paying over $400 for a small townhome and car which she hadn’t driven for years. When I tried to cancel her policy (as her financial power of attorney), he would not allow me to do so. I am a 65-year-old woman and have never experienced this disservice he has given my mother. He will overcharge the elderly if it benefits him. Response to Dean's reply: Hello Dean, I do not question the service you have given my mother. When she lived at her home, she was quite happy with you. However, when I took over her finances in trying to reduce her cost, you questioned me and said you wanted to discuss this with her and would not allow me to make changes on her behalf. If you have recorded communications with me then prove me wrong and I would gladly apologize. For now, I stand behind what I've written 100%, and waited to post this until her house was sold last month. When I called to cancel her insurance with your assistant, the process was very smooth, and I appreciated her help. It would have been great for you to write a letter to my mother showing your appreciation for the years she has supported you and your insurance company. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Lastly, it's sad that you feel the need to threaten me and bring in other family members as well, really!"

"Hello Cindy. What a terrible post. You do not deserve a response, but I will for your sake. Unfortunately, your comments are not true and actually quite slanderous in nature. There are 265 Google Reviews about my agency. We have a 4.9 rating. Your 1 star probably caused the solid 5 perfection, but I will survive. I have every last communication with your mother's household. We have provided excellent service throughout your mother's tenure. Come to think of it, I personally drove to your mother's home and jump started her car for her!!! I believe you were there. It was you or your sister. I believe your current demeanor has failed your ability to recall these excellent customer service actions. Just that one effort alone places me in the highest levels of excellence. It is a shame that you cannot reel in your emotions, and they caused you to do these harmful posts. If I am thinking about the correct household, I believe you have a sister and you two do not see to see eye to eye on everything. I understand this entire perspective better now. Please understand that we do not set the rates! We do not pick the coverage's either. There were discussions of different coverage options and you declined. These 2 most basic facts alone diminish your combative post, and is consider libel and slanderous. I am going to consider my options on how I chose the appropriate remedy to this nonsense. You have a right to vent to anyone about anything you desire, it simply needs to be the truth, and this is far from such. We have always communicated openly, kindly, and honestly with you. We have excellent customer reviews! My agency is in its 12th year, and our ratings our exceptional! There is not a more active agent than I, and I am certain I can have a 1000 people agree to such. Luckily, my customers know exactly who I am and how I run my agency. At this time, I would encourage you to seek counsel advice for this chosen path. Regards, Dean Berube"
